Free "Safe Smart" Event Designed to Keep Neighborhoods Safe

The United Way of Marathon County is hosting a free community safety event on November 11th from 10:30am to noon.

It will be at the United Way Headquarters at 705 S. 24th Avenue, Suite 4008.

It's called "Safe Smart" and it focuses on presentations from police and fire departments about keeping your neighborhood safe during the holidays.

It is free and open to the public, but they ask you RSVP so they make sure they have enough seats. You can do that by calling 715-298-5721 or
