Wausau Holiday Parade a Success

The streets of Wausau are quiet again after the annual Holiday Parade rolled through the city.

It started at 6:30 p.m. at Marathon Park and ended downtown.

NewsChannel 7 staff members came out and pushed shopping carts alongside the floats and parade goers.

Our mission: to collect food and money for our Share Your Holidays Food Drive.

Although it was chilly, your generous spirit warmed our hearts. We took in what could be a record amount of food during our history of taking part in the parade.

If you'd like to donate to Share Your Holidays, just drop off food or money at our studio on Grand Avenue or River Valley Bank locations.

You can also drop off food at local Shopko stores, Perkins Restaurants and Wausau area Wagner Shell stations.

Everything goes to the Salvation Army and Neighbors' Place food pantries.
