The holidays will be a little brighter for countless people this year thanks to your generosity.

Chairman Jeff Thelen and the principal sponsor and donors to Share Your Holidays presented this year's check during a live broadcast in NewsChannel 7 at 5.

Share Your Holidays raised $36,270 and collected enough food to cover our interview set.

That doesn't include the food that's at four other drop off locations throughout the area.

It all goes to the Salvation Army and Neighbor's Place.

To everyone who donated this year, thanks! But there's still time to give.

The Share Your Holidays account at River Valley Bank will stay open until the end of the year.
