We have another Share Your Holiday's challenge; it comes from the Rib Knights Snowmobile Club. The club donated donated $100 Wednesday and would like to challenge all other snowmobile clubs to meet the donation. Newschannel 7 would like to say thank you to the Rib Knights for the donation.
The JX Truck Center in Rib Mountain has graciously donated $500 and food to Share Your Holidays; they dropped the donations off Wednesday morning. The money and food is in addition to letting Newschannel 7 use one of their trucks as a billboard, and way to get grocery carts to drop-off sites. Newschannel 7 would like to thank JX Truck Center for all their help every year.
That brings the money total to over $10,000 as we enter the final two days. You can help us finish strong by making a money or non-perishable food donation at River Valley Bank or Newschannel 7. They're also taking food at the Wausau area Wagner Shell Stations and Crossroads County Market.
It all goes to the Salvation Army and Neighbor's Place.
Share Your Holidays comes to an end Friday, and we're going to start the final day off right. Between 5:00am and 7:00am this Friday morning, make a donation of money or non-perishable food at the Newschannel 7 building on Grand Avenue in Wausau, and in return you'll get a cup of Biggby coffee and a cookie home-made by Newschannel 7's Jeff Thelen's mom.
