As the snow melts, you're probably noticing a lot of trash left behind. Each year, the Ghidorzi Green & Clean event draws hundreds of volunteers who roll up their sleeves on a Saturday and pick up all that litter. This year's event was set for April 20th, but because of Mother Nature, it has changed.
The 65th Alice in Dairyland, Rochelle Ripp, is in our area teaching kids about Wisconsin agriculture this week. She's giving a presentation in schools called "Growing a Healthy Wisconsin." It's a joint partnership between the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
Seniors are gearing up for their high school graduation, which is just a few weeks away. As you know along with graduation, comes graduation parties. That's why the Wausau School District is offering graduates of Wausau East and Wausau West graduation parties. They will give graduates a safe, alcohol and drug-free night.
