If you’re looking for some fun things to do with your family this summer without ever leaving the Badger State, we’ve got what you need to know.

Danielle Johnson with the WI Dept. of Tourism stopped by our studio to talk with us about some new attractions. The first is zip-lining on Lake Geneva. It’s an activity that even kids as young as 8 years old can take part in. The course is about two and a half hours long and will give you a true “flying through air” experience.

Next is SummerFest in Milwaukee, where 700 different bands will be performing during the 11 day festival.

And of course, we can’t forget the Wisconsin Dells. There are several new water attractions to check out in the Water Park Capital of the World.

There’s also the US Open Women’s Golf tournament going on near Milwaukee, and one lucky Sunrise 7 viewer will have a chance to win 2 tickets to the big event. We’ll be giving them away during the 6:00am hour of Sunrise 7 on Friday, June 22nd.

We will post all the rules online, but to enter you just need to be the 7th caller once we post the phone number on Friday’s morning show.
