Where Were You on 9/11/2001?

Maybe you were in a business meeting. Maybe you were having coffee with friends. Maybe you were in tenth grade history class.

Regardless, you'll always remember where you were and what you were doing when you first heard the news that a plane hit the Twin Towers.

At first, it seemed like a terrible accident.

Then as we watched the horrific scenes unfold, it became clear America was under attack.

September 11th defined an entire generation who witnessed it.

We spoke with some Wausau residents to see how they're feeling about America's darkest day, eleven years later.

And everyone told us, although so much time has passed, they can remember it like it was yesterday.

While every one os us has our own unique "where were you" September 11th experience, one thing was immediately clear to everyone, something that's all too evident today. Nothing would ever be the same again. Not for us, and not for our country.
