We're Just Days Away from Artrageous Weekend!

Saturday and Sunday are going to be pretty busy in Wausau. That's because it's Artrageous Weekend!

On the city's Westside, you'll find Art in the Park. To check it out, head to Marathon Park's East Gate Hall and Exhibition Building. More than 100 exhibitors will be set up showcasing everything from pottery to furniture. Art in the Park runs from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and again on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. There's no admission.

If you head to Wausau's Downtown, you'll find the Festival of Arts. It's happening on Third Street and on the 400 Block. You'll find work by more than 120 artists ranging from ceramics to photography. There's also live music, a hands-on children's art area and food stands as well. There's no admission and the event runs Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and again on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

On the city's Eastside, you'll find the brand new "Birds in Art" exhibit at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. Amy Beck joined us Thursday morning on Sunrise 7 to talk about it. You can learn more by watching the video above. More than a dozen artists will be at the museum Saturday morning starting at 9:30 in the morning. There's no admission and to check it out the Woodson Art Museum is open Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
