Making Roasted Veggies for the Grill

You can get a lot of fresh veggies from your garden or local farmer's market right now. If you're looking for some ways to incorporate them to your meal, Chef Dave Alter with Sweet & Savoury in Wausau has some ideas.

First, can make roasted veggies. Just get any veggies of your choice, wash them and then chop them up into even pieces that way they cook evenly. Put those into a bowl and add some balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, fresh cracked pepper and some salt. Mix that up and put the veggies into a foil pouch to go on the grill. Once you've done that put it on the grill and let it cook for about 35 to 40 minutes on low. Then, serve them up as a side dish.
