If you’ve recently thought about purchasing an tablet, you might be a little confused about the features and benefits of each model. Jim Greer, from AT&T stopped by Sunrise 7 Tuesday morning to tell us a little more about three new techy devices.
The new iPad
There are a million more pixels in the new iPad than in a 1920 x 1080 HDTV. Think about that: This little 9.5-inch slate has more dots than the 50-inch flat screen you ooh and aah over. The effect is dramatic.
Samsung Note
The Note is a superphone. It combines the benefits of a smartphone, tablet and e-reader in one device. So, it's ideal for travel or when you're on-the-go.
It comes equipped with an S-pen for literally taking notes on the screen or adding a personal touch by sending messages in your own handwriting. Or if you'd prefer, it can instantly convert a handwritten note into a text format. You can write captions on photos taken w/the phone and share them on Facebook or email them to family and friends.
And if you are a gamer, the 5.3 inch screen is great for improving your gaming accuracy. And you can use the S-Pen for crossword puzzles or Sudoku.
The larger screen is also good for videos or photo editing. So, it's a great all-in-one device for $299.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9
Slim and light weight, this 4G Android tablet sports an 8.9 inch screen, which is a great size. It has a 2 MP Front-facing Camera for video chatting and a 3.2 MP Rear-facing Camera with LED Flash.
