Taste Food from Around the World and Help Local Kids

What if we told you there's a way to try food from all over the world without ever leaving North Central Wisconsin?

As if that's not good enough, there's also a way to do it while helping needy children right here in our area.

It's all part of an annual tradition that's back for the seventh time.

It's the Middle Wisconsin Chef's Association Fundraiser dinner.

The theme this year is "An Olympic Tribute" so for $50 a ticket, you'll be able to sample cuisine from all around the globe, cooked by local chefs.

It's Sunday, October 21st at City Grill Bistro (203 Jefferson Street in Wausau).

There's a silent auction at 5pm, followed by dinner at 6:30pm.

Proceeds go to Stevens Point and Wausau schools, helping kids who cannot afford to pay for lunch at school.

You can get tickets at any of these places:

City Grill Bistro in Wausau
Michele's Sky Club in Steven's Point and Plover
Hoffman House in Wausau
