TSA Asking Airlines to Track Injured and Lost Pets

The TSA wants airlines to start reporting when animals are lost, injured or killed on flights.

Right now, only the 15 largest airlines report those incidents, but it's being proposed that all airlines with planes larger than 60-seats would have to start doing the same thing.

Last year, airlines reported 35 animal deaths, nine injuries, and two lost pets.

Through April of this year 12 animals have died and 14 have been hurt.
