Saturday is car seat recycling day. All you have to do is take them to the Judging Pavilion at Marathon Park in Wausau or the Plover and Marshfield Fire Departments from 9 a.m. until noon.
Michelle Armstrong, the Safe Kids Coordinator for Aspirus Wausau Hospital stopped by Sunrise 7 Friday morning to talk about it. You can learn more about car seat recycling day by watching the video above.
You should drop off car seats that more than 6 years old, have been recalled, were purchased at garage sales or thrift stores or involved in a crash. Of course, if the seats are missing parts, are broken, or just not need anymore you should drop them off.
