At first glance "Talley's Folly" by Lanford Wilson seems simple. The classic boy-meets-girl story features only two characters for it's entire one-act run time. But there's a lot more in the play's text, so much so that it was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1980.
Sunrise 7's Sean Caldwell spoke with cast members Gary Anderson and Ellen Barker for a preview of River District Theatre's new production in Wausau..
"Talley's Folly" opens Friday night with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. though Saturday at Mount Sinai Congregation as well as a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
