Tuesday's election is a prime example of pricey politics; it's the most expensive ever in Wisconsin history.
More than $63.5 million has been spent by candidates and independent groups, much of that coming from out-of-state.
The amount raised since November, just seven months, trounces the state's previous record of $37.4 million set back in 2010; the last time Barrett and Walker met in the gubernatorial race.
