Playground at the Park Fitness Routine: Monday Morning Motivation

This weekend showered some good weather on the Wausau area, but waking up to a Monday morning doesn't always serve as the most thrilling replacement.

YMCA Boot Camp Instructor Vickie Christianson says you can make any morning an optimistic one by fitting in a quick work out, something she showed us at the Oak Island Park play structure. With a resistance band in hand, you can throw in arm and back work outs while the kids are running around the swings or after an outside run.

The resistance bands can be purchased at most sporting good stores and various supermarkets such as Target and Walmart. They're lightweight, easy to carry, and serve as the perfect packable item for an on-the-go routine.
