The Rhinelander woman accused of trying to burn down a rental home while her son slept inside will be sent to a mental health facility.
Pamela Matt, 47, is charged with arson and first degree reckless endangerment.
Investigators say she lit gas in the basement of her home while her 20-year-old son was asleep upstairs. He was able to escape.
Monday in Oneida County Court, a judge ruled she was not competent and ordered her to be committed.
She was previously convicted of an arson charge in 2002.
