As part of the 2013 Callie Rohr Memorial Canoe & Kayak Race, members of NewsChannel 7 faced off against competitors from WJFW to Paddle For A Cure.

Meteorologist Mark Holley and his wife Jackie won third place, saving at least part of the station's dignity.

Diana Normand and Sean Caldwell were third-to-last after spending much of the race identifying various types of shrubs and brush along the Wisconsin river.

Surprising all expectations, the valiant team of Kristen Guilfoos and Ali Ingersoll also managed to finish the race without being rescued, a major victory for them.

Proceeds from the larger event, now in its 12th year, benefits pediatric brain tumor research.
