STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) -- The head of the National Wildlife Refuge System is scheduled to address University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point graduates later this month.
NWRS Chief James Kurth holds a degree in wildlife management from UW-Stevens Point. He has worked for the refuge system since 1979, including a stint managing the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in northern Alaska.
He's set to speak at the college's graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 19.
