"Lord of the Rings" heartthrob Orlando Bloom left his mark in Hollywood. The British actor showing his excitement after he received a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Bloom's next hobbit movie is due in theaters later this year.

Miley Cyrus will get a chance to "express herself" on Madonna's "Art for Freedom" project. Cyrus will be guest curator this month for the on-line arts forum, which aims to raise awareness of human rights violations. Artists submit videos, poetry or photography and the winners are showcased on the "Art for Freedom" web site. Meanwhile, Miley is mourning the loss of her dog named Floyd. She took it to Twitter expressing her emotions.

Russell Brand is turning a new page. The comedian has a deal for a series of children's books called "Trickster Tales." The stories will be his own versions of classic fairy tales, starting with "The Pied Piper of Hamelin," out in November.

Channing Tatum is set to get a special honor at next weekend's MTV movie awards. The magic mike star will be presented with the MTV trailblazer award, making him the first male recipient to get that award. The award will be presented by Mila Kunis, his co-star in the upcoming sci-fi thriller, "Jupiter ascending."
