With winter break coming up, it can get boring for kids to just sit around all day. The Marathon County Library created an event series to help busy parents out during the holiday season and give their children things outside of the house to do while off from school.

On Monday, December 23rd, they're hosting a DIY Holiday Cards and Crafts from 11am until 4pm. On Friday, December 27th, they're playing two matinee movies. The first starting at 1pm and the other at 3pm. On December 30, the library is holding a special Lego club meeting from 11am until 4pm. All events are free and open to kids every age.

The library offers great resources during the break to keep our child stimulated. Aside from the events, the have movies, computer games and books. This holiday season, you can check out a number of Christmas-themed tales to share with your children and family.

The library will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. They will be open on New Year's Eve but will be closing early at 5pm.
