The Kohl's corporation has agreed to keep its headquarters in the Milwaukee area.
The state is giving Kohls $62.5 million in tax credits if they hold up their end of the bargain to hire thousands of local workers. The plan is to add up to 3,000 jobs over the next 12 years, and spend $250 million in facility improvements.
Kohl's toyed around with the idea of moving to another part of Wisconsin, or another state, but never with moving the company overseas.
