They're an old tradition from England, and a favorite of our Michigan neighbors in the UP, and now you'll have a chance to buy some fresh, homemade pasties right here in Wausau. You'll even be helping out an important cause at the same time.
Chef Dan at Greenwood Hills Country Club is making traditional pasties to raise money for the Aspirus Hospice Foundation. You can buy them for $4 each on November 7th between 11am and 9pm. You're being encouraged to pre-order by November 1st.
It would be a great lunch for an office to enjoy together, and if your business (in Wasusau, Weston or Schofield area) orders lunch for the staff, Chef Dan will deliver the hot and fresh pasties to you.
