It happens every summer; babies are killed when their parents accidentally leave them in hot cars.
But now, a baby seat maker is hoping to change that by making a smart phone app alerting parents when the car gets too hot or too cold.
It also alerts you if the car seat isn't properly secured or if the seatbelt becomes unbuckled. The "First Years" company is hoping it's a high-tech answer to an ongoing problem.
