The Holiday season is all about love, giving, and spending time with family - which usually includes lots of food, especially sweets! Anyone with a sweet tooth knows indulging in cookies, candies, and desserts can really add to your waistline. Creating lighter versions of your favorite holiday treats is a great way to enjoy sweets without gaining weight.
Weight Watchers has some great recipes that allow you to have your sweet fix even if you are trying to lose weight:
· Gingersnap Cookies vs. WW Crackle Spice Drops: Cookies are a mainstay for every holiday season, but few are low in calories. A homemade gingersnap cookie can have close to 100 calories per cookie, or 3 to 4 PointsPlus depending on the recipe. Our lighter version has around 50 or 2 PointsPlus for 1 cookie. That's half the calories for a warm, spice-filled cookie!

· Chocolate Fudge vs. WW Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge: Fudge is another decadent treat at the Holidays, but it can be over 200 calories or up to 6 PointsPlus for a small square. Our version uses fat-free evaporated milk and light butter to help cut the calories into just 100 or 3 PointsPlus for a small piece.
