Superbowl champ. MVP. Now the Packers quarterback can add one more thing to his list of glories. Happy Aaron Rodgers Day!
It's even been made official by the Wisconsin government.
So on this 12-12-12, grab your own #12 gear and start celebrating!
When Stevens Point resident Jennifer Brilowski first talked about Aaron Rodgers Day, it was a joke. She mentioned it to her friends when they were talking about 11-11-11, saying how 12-12-12 should be Rodgers Day.
On a whim, she started a Facebook fan page about it called "Lets Make 12/12/12 Aaron Rodgers Day".
To her surprise, it gained popularity quickly and now has more than 15,000 fans.
Even Aaron Rodgers himself can't believe it, saying it's way more than his hometown of Chico, California did. They, by the way, put up a wooden sign saying "Home of Aaron Rodgers", which was recently stolen.
Brilowski is hoping to raise money for the charities Rodgers works with to help child cancer patients. So far, she's raised more than $3,100 through the Facebook fan page.
