Habitat for Humanity Wausau is now accepting applications for those who need a new home.

Joanne Genrich and Berland Meyer stopped by Sunrise 7 to tell us all about the program that has been in the Wausau area for over two decades.

If you currently live in substandard housing, need more space for your family and can afford $659 a month, then you may qualify for a Habitat home. You also need to fit certain income requirements.

For more information and to see if you could be eligible for the Habitat homes the group plans to build in Wausau this year, there will be an information and application meeting on March 23rd.
