Spice Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting

In separate bowl, sift together (set aside):
2 cups all-purpose flour
3-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 extra large eggs

Cream butter or margarine with sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each egg.
Add vanilla and beat.

Alternate adding flour mixture to creamed mixture with 1 cup milk on low speed. Beat for 1-2 minutes and pour into greased and floured (bottom only) 9x13 pan or use non-stick spray.

Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

Peanut butter frosting:
3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup creams or chunky peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

6-8 Tablespoons milk (more or less to desired consistency)
