The Girl Scout Cookie Program is a financial literacy program that teaches girls five key skills:
Goal-setting
Decision-making
Money management
People skills
Business ethics
After paying the cookie baker, all proceeds stay in our community, a portion to the girls themselves and the rest to our Council, which covers programming and services. Girls decide, with their teams, where their cookie proceeds go toward. They can choose to go on a trip, throw a party with their troop, complete a service project, etc.
Girls can join Girl Scouts at any time during the year, however they want to get involved. They can join a troop, or simply attend events, camp, or be a part of the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Adults can also volunteer with Girl Scouts based on their interests and availability.
If a Girl Scout doesn't come to your door, call the Cookie Hotline at 800.246.4171. While Cookie Booths sales are open, you can search for booths in your area by typing in your zip code at Girl Scout Cookies
