The first of five free book boxes is now open in Wausau. It's at the Women's Community.

It's part of the Free Little Library project, aimed at giving access to books to people who don't live near a library.

It's an honor system, so no library card is needed. You can stop by, pick up a book, and return it whenever you are done. You can also take a book, and leave a book instead.

Each box will be filled with 15 - 30 books of various genres for all ages.

There is no word on where the other boxes will be installed yet.
