Cakes with Kristen - Mom's Lemon Cake

MOM’S LEMON CAKE
Recipe from: Sue Pollack

1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
4 eggs
¾ c. oil
¾ c. cold water
1 tsp. lemon extract
Beat above together for 4 minutes.
Pour into 9x13 greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
PICK CAKE with tines of kitchen fork.

Glaze:
1 ½ c. powdered sugar
6 T. lemon juice
Mix very well together with wire whisk.
Drizzle glaze over poked cake while still warm.
