This installment of "Trips on a Tank" takes us 160 miles southeast of Wausau to Sheboygan, where we visited the John Michael Kohler Art Center. A place, as we found out, that's full of suprises.

Clean lines, sculptured shapes...the perfect, deliberate mix of space and design, everything an art museum should be; It is a place that shows the work of emerging artists, also the work of self-taught and folk artists.

You'll find their work in all corners of this 99,000 square foot building, and we mean all of them...even in the restrooms. Nearly two dozen artists worked for six months to create these out of the box masterpieces, and much like the ladies room, next door in the men's room no surface area is left untouched. The walls depict the history of the world, one hand painted tile at a time.

But if the wacky bathrooms aren't you're idea of the perfect family day trip, then perhaps you were picturing something more like the awkward family photos exhibit. It's a collection of real families' not-so-proud moments. The entire idea started several years ago with two friends who noticed their own families had a few less than stellar moments captured on film. From a gun-toting granny, to a slip-up on the slip-n-slide, to some questionable Christmas morning outfits. This exhibit is full of laughs.

If you too can admit you have some as well, you're in luck; you can submit your most awkward moment on the art center's Facebook page by clicking here and if yours is the best....or rather worst, it will be on display in the art center and you could win some big prizes.

So flip through those old albums...searching for your most uncomfortable moments, all in hopes of bringing your family a little closer together as you remember the times you probably wished you were a lot farther apart.

While admission is free, they do ask for donations.

Next Thursday, our "Trips on a Tank" series takes us to Chippewa Falls, where we go behind the scenes at the Leinenkugel's brewery.
