As Alzheimer's Disease continues to be a growing problem across the country and right here in North Central Wisconsin, there's a local effort underway to change that.
There will be several Alzheimer's Walks around the area over the next week or so to raise money and awareness.

The Walk to end Alzheimer's is our signature event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's programs, services and research.
There are 600 walks taking place throughout the country, most in September which is also World Alzheimer's Month.
Alzheimer's disease is the largest underfunded public health threat facing the nation. One in eight boomers will develop the disease.
5.4 million Americans are currently living with the disease.
