For the last couple of weeks we've been introducing you to a couple of dogs at the Humane Society of Marathon County looking for a loving home as part of our "Pet Project."

This week, we decided to switch it up and show you dozens of cats that are up for adoption. Mary Kirlin from the Humane Society of Marathon County joined us live on Sunrise 7 Wednesday to talk about how we can adopt them.

She says all this week you should check out the "31 Club." It's made up of adult cats who have already been spayed or neutered. They just don't have a home yet. All of their kennels have a "31 Club" tag on them. If you're selected to be the owner of one of these adorable cats, it'll cost you just $31 to adopt them. You have until the the shelter closes on October 30th to take part in it.

If you're interested in adopting, stop out at HSMC. They're located at
7001 Packer Drive in Wausau.
