A man is in the hospital Sunday with head injuries after hitting several trees with his snowmobile Saturday.
The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department says 20-year-old Matthew Rolbiecki was driving on a marked snowmobile trail near the Village of Waumandee when he lost control and hit several trees.
Deputies say Rolbiecki was airlifted to an area hospital. They say he was not wearing a helmet, and both speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
