Some Snowmobile Trails In Marathon County Scheduled To Open Up

Some snowmobile trails in Marathon County are scheduled to open up on Wednesday, January 6th at 8 a.m.

According to a press release, snowmobile trails in the Northwest, Northeast, and Southeast Zones will open, but trails in Southwest Zone will remain closed.

The Northwest, Northeast, and Southeast trails will open to ATVs at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16th.

If you're an ATV rider, be sure to check a current map to make sure those trails are open to ATVs.

The Mountain-Bay Trail is closed to ATVs at all times.

You are asked to ride with care as trails are reported to be in good to poor condition.
