5th Annual "Paws on the Path" to Benefit Humane Society of Marathon County

It's going to be a big weekend at the Humane Society of Marathon County. As part of our Pet Project Wednesday morning, we talked about the upcoming "Paws on the Path" event.

To learn more watch the video above. It all starts with "KittyPawLooza" on Saturday night from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at HSMC. It's a feline spay/neuter fundraiser complete with live music, food and drinks too.

Then on Sunday morning, It's time for "Paws on the Path." Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., with the walk at 9 a.m. It starts and ends at the humane society. Participants can pick either a 1/2 mile walk or a 2 mile walk. There's also a pet costume contest and dog agility demonstration going on too. All of the money raised goes to HSMC.

During our Pet Project we featured an adorable pup named, "Dulce." She's a 3 year old Chihuahua, Short Coat/Mix. Dulce loves to give kisses, cuddle on your lap, run, play, go for walks and play with other dogs.
