Cookies with Kristen - Monster Cookies
This recipe is from Lisa Helms. (November 8, 2012)
Monster Cookies-
1 lb. brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
6 eggs
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. karo syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
1 - 1 1/2 lbs peanut butter (2 and 2/3 cups) (I like to use extra crunchy)
9 cups oatmeal (old fashioned oats)
8 oz M & M's (only red and green will do for Christmas)
8 oz. chocolate chips
4 tsp. baking soda
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 11 - 12 minutes. Do not over bake as the cookies are meant to be chewy.
