Naomi Isaacson, the CEO of the Samanta Roy Institute of Science and Technology, has been taken into the custody of Federal Marshals.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department says Isaacson was taken by Marshals early this morning to be transported to a Federal Facility. Isaacson was being temporarily held at the Brown County Jail on a Federal Warrant Bench Warrant from Maryland.

This weekend, SIST members and supporters of Isaacson protested outside the jail. SIST attorney Alan Eisenberg said Naomi was being starved and mistreated. He says she’s a practicing Orthodox Jew but was being refused Kosher food.
