Bruce Springsteen will be joining President Barack Obama for a rally in Madison the day before the election on Monday.

Obama's campaign spokesman Joe Zepecki confirmed Thursday that Springsteen will perform at the morning rally and introduce the president.

It will mark a return visit for Springsteen to Wisconsin's capital city. He also campaigned for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry in Madison in 2004. That visit attracted about 80,000 people.

Obama's visit to Madison will be his third to Wisconsin over five days. He was in Green Bay on Thursday and he planned to be in Milwaukee for a rally with pop singer Katy Perry on Saturday.

Republican Mitt Romney was campaigning near Milwaukee on Friday.
