Survey Shows Walker with 5 Point Lead over Barrett

Results from a poll conducted Wednesday, show incumbent Republican Governor Scott Walker holds a five-point lead over Democratic challenger Tom Barrett in Wisconsin’s upcoming recall election.

The telephone survey from Rasmussen Reports shows of 500 likely voters, 50 percent prefer Walker; while 45 percent choose Barrett. Two percent prefer some other candidate and another two percent were undecided.

Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
