Barrett Concedes to Walker, Says We Must Work Together

Tom Barrett conceded the race for Governor to Gov. Scott Walker Tuesday night, but says we need to work together to move Wisconsin forward.

The Democrat, who has now lost his bid at Governor for the third time, told a crowd of supporters Tuesday night after learning election results that he's been amazed at the energy of voters and has been honored to meet so many wonderful people along the campaign trail.

"Now we must look to the future and our challenges are real, we are a state that's been deeply divided and it is up to all of us, our side and their side to listen," Barrett said.

The Milwaukee Mayor says democrats and republicans must work together to do what's right for Wisconsin families.

He also asked his supporters to remain engaged in the political discourse and vowed to continue to do the best he can for the City of Milwaukee.
