The time change not only affects people, it can have an affect on people also.
Just as people can fall into the same daily routine, so can animals. A Veterinarian at Wausau Animal Hospital says the change can make a difference in a pet's behavior - but that they usually adjust in three to five days.
"They don't look at the clock but they have a general time they expect us home from work, and to get fed," says Karla Sathre, as Associate Veterinarian at Wausau Animal Hospital.
The Vet. says cats and dogs both fall into routines but get into a new one quickly.
