Roads in downtown Wausau are open once again tonight. This morning they were blocked off for the first ever Susan G. Komen Central Wisconsin Race for the Cure. The race's organizers are saying the event brought nearly 3,000 people to downtown Wausau's 400 Block.

For Lieutenant Ben Bliven with the Wausau Police Department the Susan G. Komen race is especially important. He'll run in honor of his cousin who is battling the disease.
