Wausau Firefighters Wear Pink to Support Breast Cancer

The Wausau Fire Department is raising awareness for breast cancer this month by trading in their blue work shirts for pink ones.

Marlon Marks from the Wausau Fire Department says “All the proceeds go to Aspirus Women’s’ Healthcare Center. Last year, $1,500 was raised.”

If you'd like to purchase a shirt, they can pick it up at the Wausau fire station. The cost is $15.

All the funds are used to help women who can't afford breast examines in our area.
