Firefighters Go Pink

Every Friday during October, all firefighters and EMS personnel will wear pink t-shirts as part of their uniform.

It's part of a nationwide initiative by the firefighters union.

The pink tees are also on sale to the public for $15 and all of the money raised will support breast cancer research.

"There's a number of us through family members who have been involved or know someone who is fighting cancer. It's a really good feeling to step up and take a little more of an active role in the research portion of it", says Marshfield Firefighter Pete Winistorfer.

If you would like to buy a shirt, contact the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department at (715) 486-2094.
