Defense Attorney Says Neumanns Believe Justice Will Prevail in Prayer Death Case

The defense attorney for Dale Neumann says the Weston couple's religious faith remains stronger than ever following the sentence handed down by Judge Vincent Howard.

Jay Kronenwetter says both are focusing on the future, and very aware that this is just the beginning of what is expected to be a very long process as the case makes it's way through the court system.

While the Neumann's both spoke during the sentencing, neither one had much to say once outside the courtroom.

Prosecutor Lamont Jacobson says while the sentence wasn't exactly what the State of Wisconsin wanted, in the end justice was served.

Kronenwetter says both Dale and Leilani tell him, when it is all said and done, they're confident justice will prevail.

Kronenwetter says he expects the case to make it all the way to the state supreme court.
