Dale Neumann is set to appear for a final pretrial hearing just days ahead of the scheduled start of his trial.

Last week, the prosecution and defense began narrowing down a pool of potential jurors for Neumann's trial.

The 47-year-old Weston Man is charged with second degree reckless homicide in the death of his daughter.

Prosecutors say Kara Neumann died of untreated diabetes last year after her parents prayed her for instead of taking her to a doctor.

Dale's wife, Leilani, was convicted of the same charge in May.

She's expected to be sentenced in October.
