The trials for Dale and Leilani Neumann have been scheduled, following the couple’s request for a speedy trial.
The two will have separate trials. Leilani’s is scheduled to begin May 14th, and Dale’s will begin July 23rd. Each trial is scheduled to last 1 week.
The requests for a speedy trial generally require that felony trials take place within 90 days. However, if the court’s schedule is full or attorneys aren’t available for a trial within 90 days, the court schedules the earliest possible date, according to a Marathon County Judicial Assistant.
