Attorneys are scheduled to meet with a Marathon County judge Monday to discuss dates for a trial against Dale and Leilani Neumann of Weston.

They're the couple accused of praying for their daughter Madeline Kara Neumann, 11, instead of seeking medical attention.

She died last Easter of untreated diabetes.

The Neumanns requested a speedy trial, within 90 days, last week to Judge Vincent Howard. Judge Howard earlier had refused to drop the second degree reckless homicide charges.

The Neumanns say their rights of religious freedom are being violated in the case.
